Well, here we are, Labor Day Weekend. In my life, I always looked at Memorial Weekend as the beginning of Summer and Labor Day as the end of summer. School is back in session, the weather is beginning to change slightly, and there is just a different feel as we enter the month of September. If you are visiting with us here this morning, we are very thankful for your presence. You may be wondering where everyone is. It is a good question and we have a great answer. Labor Day weekend is a very special time for Mountainside. It is Family Camp weekend, and the vast majority of our body is at Ponderosa Christian Camp this morning up in the Jemez mountains. It began on Friday and continues until in the morning when everyone will clean up the camp and head back home. It is a wonderful weekend full of fun, fellowship, and worship in a beautiful atmosphere. Chad and Monica Darnell as well as Brock and Beth Darnell have worked hard to put this weekend together and make it a success. Of course, these two couples rely on so many of our body who are willing to help in so many different ways. It takes an army to make Family Camp a success. Thanks to everyone who helps to make this weekend the special time that it is.
Sunday evening services at the building are cancelled for this evening.
Children’s Bible Hour classes are cancelled for this morning.
