Melchizedek, Priest of God Most High

In Genesis chapter 14 we are introduced to Melchizedek, who was the king of the small village of Salem (which later became Jerusalem).  He had a unique place in the world because in addition to being king, he was the priest of God.  This “order” of priesthood was unlike anything seen in the Bible.  In fact, only one other was a high Priest according to the order of Melchizedek:  Jesus the Messiah (Hebrews 6:19-20).
